Our Story
Ven Capital Partners is a private investment firm focused on acquiring and actively managing a portfolio of established businesses, facilitating successful ownership transitions and ensuring long-term stability. Our name, “Ven,” is derived from the Latin root meaning “to come,” reflecting the collaborative partnership of our co-founders, Hannah and Alex, as well as our commitment to acquiring businesses with consistent, recurring revenue streams.
At Ven, we are committed to being best in class. We surround ourselves with top leaders, incredible minds, and a ruthless competitive spirit that drives performance, innovation, and long-term value creation.
As first-generation Americans (Hannah’s family from Argentina, Alex’s from Mexico), we also appreciate the resonance of “Ven” within the Spanish language. Furthermore, “Ven” alludes to “veinte” (twenty in Spanish), the year in which Hannah and Alex completed their MBAs at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. This shared experience solidified our vision for Ven Capital Partners and our dedication to building lasting value through a portfolio of enduring businesses.

Hannah Greenberg
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Hannah Greenberg is the CEO of Eleven Software, where she leads all facets of the business with a particular focus on the revenue and commercial teams—including Sales, Customer Success and Support, and Marketing—and on the people function, overseeing HR and organizational development.
A hotelier by background, Hannah has deep experience across development, asset management, operations, finance, and technology. Prior to joining Eleven and founding Ven Capital Partners, Hannah spent eight years as Vice President of Development at Seaview Investors, where she oversaw approximately $1 billion of hotel development, and she previously held positions at PwC in the hotel real estate consulting practice, leading large-scale hospitality and strategy engagements.
Hannah received her MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. She is a board member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Orange County Chapter and co-chair of the Vendor Subcommittee for HTNG’s Global Technology 100 (T100).
Alex Lopez
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Alex Lopez is the President and COO of Eleven Software, where he oversees Finance, Internal Operations, and Strategic Direction alongside CEO Hannah.
Alex began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Corporate and Commercial Gaming group, working across debt capital markets, syndications, and credit. He later joined U.S. Bank, where he managed the corporate and commercial portfolio for Southern Nevada.
Before transitioning to the private sector, Alex served five years in the U.S. Marine Corps, deploying to more than ten countries across three continents. During his service, he also trained over 100 Marines as a black-belt martial arts instructor.
Alex earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and his BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Lee School of Business at UNLV.
